@moonmoth @weirdadmiral i have the German version. Agree: the German version is more beautiful. I even have the adventure fleshed out in a way (based on Folklore and historic events): a fictional East Frisian island in the early 19th century during the time of continental blockade, a conflict between the impoverished islanders and a French detachment. An english ship attacks a small French fortification. A boy finds something on the beach. Coming soon? #alasfortheawfulsea
On vacation (back home) in #EastFrisia
Took the small ferry from #Petkum to #Ditzum, one of my father‘s (🖤) favorite spots.
Visited Ditzum‘s #medieval (13th century) church with its light house-shaped bell tower (mid 19th century).
Mental note: One day, I will run an #alasfortheawfulsea Sea adventure set in East Frisia during the time of the Napoleonic Wars. I have absorbed so much folklore and local history …. It has to be done 😅 #pbta

9. My favourite #TTRPG for its writing is... Hmmm, that's a hard one as there are so many. But rather than go with some obvious contenders, I think I'll give a shout out to #AlasForTheAwfulSea by Hayley Gordon and Vee Hendro from #Storybrewers. It's probably the first #PBTA game I liked, and it's very well written. It's also a great game with tools you can bring into any game, and you should absolutely check it out:
