My conundrum as we enter the last week of the Alberta election:

I'm pretty much a centrist. I fit most comfortably with the #AlbertaParty :ap:

In fact, I am a party member.

They have a candidate running in my riding but aren't doing any campaigning. It was a last-minute nomination.

But I have major ideological differences with both UCP & NDP. I despise Smith and the toxic TBA populism, but I don't see the NDP as a decent solution either.

So where does my vote go? 🤔

After the 30 issues/policy questions, you have the whole “how likely would you vote for this party?” line of questioning.

My results on that 2nd pic reflect how I answered those questions. So I think my bias influenced those.

If I’m being fair, I think they have the #AlbertaParty too socially progressive compared to the NDP/Libs.

Besides that, I’m always close to centre so it did alright picking my position.

Also if you are in one of the ridings that have #AlbertaParty candidates, please take the time to read the party's policies before you go and vote.

@ChrisH_Prog we all know ‘first past the post’ does not equate to a mandate (50% + 1) in many cases but what is the fix? The #AlbertaParty is committed to find the answer. The more voices we have in the conversation the better.
