Horse Lords: Comradely Objects
Their previous album "The Common Task" was one of my faves of 2020 but this is a whole new level. The hypnotic, polyrhythmic grooves & mathematical sophistication remain but with extra jazz skronk, psychedelia & even housey piano. Radical, intricately structured yet expressionistic & simply joyous. Wow.
