Last 3 days of #AlbumWritingClub left to go, and all I have left to do is vocals and a mix of there's time. Very happy with my mad wee album. Looking forward to sharing it eventually..

Friday diary/update for my #AlbumWritingClub contribution for 2023, i currently have 9 songs. Music is mostly written, by which i mean all the drums, bass, synth/piano parts are finished. Tonight, wrote about 75% of the required lyrics and named all the songs. Writing and recording the guitar parts over the weekend.

tonights #AlbumWritingClub update: 9 fresh song ideas created since May began. Most are now quite fleshed out - not fully sculpted, but on their way. Haven’t recorded any guitars yet as hands are painful and fingertips feel fragile. Of the 9 songs i have so far, i think 5 or so might even be structurally complete. Way ahead of schedule. Might try writing an album in a week once this adventure in May is complete.

Three days into #AlbumWritingClub2023 and I've got the bones of 4 tracks down. Aiming for between 7 and 10 for the album, so it is going well, I guess. This first week is all about fresh ideas, then next week will get into refining and development. #AlbumWritingClub

Finishing off rough instrumental mixes of the album I've been working on for 5 years so that I can set them aside and dedicate the entirety of the month of May to the #AlbumWritingClub

2022 has proved quite a bizarre year for me musically. Having not released any #music for 8 years it has kind of snowballed.

I released my #album 21 in March. I entered the lights & lines #albumwritingclub which produced another album 22 released in June and also throughout the year I have been learning composition which has developed into an #OrchestralSuite that has been released by Monochrome Motif records.

A massive thanks to everyone who has helped along the way.
