I’m looking for a ~1 month Airbnb type apartment rental or house-sitting opportunity for the month of #June in #WestSeattle. For my folks, who are visiting while I deal with some health stuff.

They’re in an Air Bnb now, but moving out June 2, and looking for what’s next - but availability is looking like a challenge. Trying to avoid the Residence Inn, etc.

Some disabled folk can’t park a car and get inside a restaurant to pickup food because of various disabilities that have nothing to do with wearing a mask. They need curbside as well. But #CactusRestuarant #Alki is #NotAccessible for them either. I grew up eating Tex-Mex in coastal Texas in the ‘60s and so did many generations of my family before me so can say with authority that Cactus doesn’t serve authentic TexMex. Save your dineros and cook at home!

I’m one of those people. Tonight I ordered curbside pickup from #CactusRestaurant #Alki & was told they’d discontinued curbside. Ok, so I can’t eat there anymore since they are #NotAccessible. Headed to #Alki yesterday and was able to see #orcas #killerwhales #whales from shore through my binoculars. I didn’t manage any pictures of them, but I believe they were identified as #transient #T-124 matriline by #OrcaNetwork. I pulled a photo off another site taken by someone else.

Ice on the beach at #Alki #WestSeattle from the #Seattle ice storm. It makes the driftwood look like somebody was playing with Photoshop. Meanwhile, the clouds are so low that the top of Toe Jam Hill on #BainbridgeIsland is definitely grazing them.
