I picked the last of my curly kale and savoy cabbages yesterday as they have all started to bolt with the warmer weather. Delicious and tender, especially the flower buds that are still small, like sprouting broccoli. Planted some calabrese for the autumn, to be followed shortly by some purple sprouting broccoli seedlings. Leeks are still growing nicely, as are the spring cabbages. #allotmentsUK #allotment #growyourown #Hampshire

I’ve peaked too soon 9.30 and I’ve done my gardening for the day - stuttgarter giants onion sets for £2 from Tesco’s to go with 80 reds that I got from Wilkos the other week #allotment #greenhouse #allotmentsUK

Blackcurrant and blueberry bushes in bud. That’ll do nicely #allotment #allotments #allotmentuk #allotmentsUK #grownyourown #fruit #gardening

Cold, wet and windy here but the cauliflowers are still growing nicely #allotment #allotments #allotmentuk #allotmentsUK

Only because it’s rained for most of the morning I decided to build a frame to sit on top of the Welsh Onion bed. Last year it was the only allium bed that suffered with white rot. So I’ve dug the soil out and replaced it with new to start again. Annoying but these things happen!! #allotment #allotments #allotmentuk #allotmentsUK

@canuckuk Last year (and likely this year too) I was caught with young plants needing TLC when we were away in March. I was very glad of fellow allotment holders who kept them watered. We cover for each other as best we can. #allotmentsUK
It was cold and foggy at the #allotment this morning but by 2pm the fog cleared, so I grabbed a quick half an hour before dark. #allotmentsUK
