#Today it’s predicted to rain🙄with high temps 79F 26C here in the woodlands of MO. Definitely not typical for mid-July in the Midwest.
The Dude just jumped off my lap from our bird/squirrel show and I need to get movin. I’m aiming to hit the Highway by 10:30 for my fun filled day ahead. It’s root canal day!!😖
But first I’m going to sneak in a workout after a small breakfast.

"My Sweet Lord" is a song by English musician #GeorgeHarrison, released in November 1970 on his triple album #AllThingsMustPass. It was also released as a single, Harrison's first as a solo artist, and topped charts worldwide; it was the biggest-selling single of 1971 in the UK. In America and Britain, the song was the first number-one single by an ex-#Beatle. Harrison originally gave the song to his fellow #AppleRecords artist #BillyPreston to record.

Great Albums, 1970s, No. 17: #GeorgeHarrison – #AllThingsMustPass (1970). George had the most to gain, creatively speaking, from The Beatles breakup, and on this triple LP the dam bursts. Production by Phil Spector (distinct on “My Sweet Lord,” “What is Life,” etc.) varies with Harrison’s earthier touch (Dylan’s “If Not for You,” “Behind That Locked Door,” etc.). A battalion of session stars lends a hand on the main two discs and a third disc of jams.

Watched a really good doc about #TowerRecords tonight. #AllThingsMustPass I first visited Tower when we moved to California in 1983. Still have the records I bought at the Concord location!

Today’s listening is the 50th Anniversary CD box set of ‘All Things Must Pass’ by George Harrison.
I really like these 2020 stereo mixes of this album!
