Now, let’s go back in time, way back! In 1976 Joni Mitchell—one of the greatest ever who started out as a folk musician, but early on embarked on journeys through various musical genres—performed with a jazz band comprising guitarist Pat Metheny, keyboardist Lyle Mays, bassist Jaco Pastorius, saxophonist Michael Brecker, and drummer/percussionist Don Alias.
