Scribbles as pattern. Lots of fun but also lots of logistics. If you ask me for the steps, I couldn’t verbalize them. I wasn’t using the symmetry tool on @procreate. That makes it a little challenging. I did cross over the middle which also made it more challenging. On the second set, I stayed away from the center horizontally and vertically. Texting with one of my nieces, I caught a glimpse of a tile pattern. I asked her to send me a pic & used it for inspiration to come up with this pattern. Had to do two patterns and then combine them as the tiles seemed to be rectangular instead of square. #patterndesign #almahoffmannpatterns #almahoffmann

COVID doodles… or sick doodles. The eye is based on a photograph taken by a Tumblr user who’s name is mykukula. I found the photo on @pinterest. The Tumblr page for the user says it’s mature content so I didn’t see anything there. I liked the pic very much because of the dramatic contrast. I’m sucker for high and dramatic contrast photos.
