When things are going well, I need my #alonetime, but not very much, and I love a party or to stay up super late with a few friends, which goes against the stereotype. Yet some introverts can recharge from the partial #solitude of closing their door in an occupied house, which I can't.
Interesting to ponder while avoiding my housemates like the plague 😅

• the negative effects of #solitude deprivation grow exponentially as the length of deprivation is extended
• solitude which is only available for short or unpredictable periods is much less restorative than that which is freely available
• quasi-solitude with the constant possibility of interruption even by relatively understanding people is not solitude.
