Love the reunion of Steve and #AlphonsoJohnson. Steve tells the story of being in the middle of a long #improvisation section with him. At one point he thinks yo himself “huh, this kind of sounds like Weather Report.” Then he looks over, “oh, right.”

In 1976 maakt ze haar debuut met jazz bassist #AlphonsoJohnson, daarvoor heeft ze al gewerkt met oa Marvin Gaye en Diana Ross.
Ze neemt met haar vader het album #SoloTwo op in 1977 en voegt zich bij #TheGeorgeDukeBand waarmee ze verschillende albums opneemt. Ze neemt nog werk op met
