What I miss terribly during #podcasting: A #nativeSpeaker teaching me all these complicated #words like mycobacterium, gut microbiota etc. So often I have to google it and that takes time. But I have to because in #English it sounds often very different to my original #German #Latin with a meanwhile #French accent!
I speak French daily, and I only hear German on TV/radio. We also speak #Alsatian here, an #Alemannic #language. And mix all #languages merrily in one sentence: #Europlais.😁

Just discovered #alsatian is identified under 'gsw' / German Switzerland in #iso639.
While not being an expert, it sounds strange to me, but interesting!
So, it means local speakers from #Strasbourg will be asked to #translate like Swiss Germans. This sounds funny.
