Boss says to have a quizzable knowledge of student IEPs. Okay, cool. Normally I just read the accomodations section and make sure I plan for those. But if you tell me the kid who is leading Algebra struggles with times tables, I'm gonna start asking questions. Like why the heck I need to know something that is false or at least out of date.

Winter break begins and just in time-- we have a multi day snow storm and my classroom ran out of the good tissues yesterday. Some students skipped the last day while others brought injera, stew, and sambusa. 80% new kids on January.
