I've been having a lot of fun learning how to make "Chlorophyll" prints. In a nutshell, I make a black and white positive print on Pictorico OHP, put that positive onto a suitable leaf in a printing frame, and let it sit in the sun for a few hours. Like a lot of alt-process photography stuff, it's easy in principle but devilishly complicated in execution. @alxmiguelc2 My cameras are just simple handmade shaped cardboard boxes, tripod socket (1/4-20 thread insert) with a light-proof lid and a little pinhole usually ~f250 Electricians tape make everything light tight. A single sheet is loaded one at a time. @alxmiguelc2 Using pinhole cameras to create big negatives allows one to contact print and does away with needing an enlarger. With the #altphoto process and their sensitivity to just UV light, the prep work can be done in a simple dim room. An artificial UV light source, or for the simpler printing out processes like Bown print and cyanotype the sun works fine.

@alxmiguelc2 I shoot very large format, but in big single shot pinhole cameras. I use inexpensive rapid access film developed in an ultra-low contrast developer. I print altphoto - one of the older ultraviolet sensitive techniques 12x18 inch vandyke brown contact print. #altphoto #pinholecamera
