Speaking of literal… adding alt txt to a picture that is literally text, by clicking the link that adds it FOR you using OCR, is literally the least you could do.

This is the sort of thing I’d immediately boost on all 3 of my masto accounts, but I (& many others I know) won’t boost pics lacking alt text.
