@gotobedtony yes! City Pages has been somewhat reborn as the site Racket, run by some of the former staff. As an alum of several altweeklies - including the defunct City Pages, whose archives have similarly vanished from the internet - this story about the shadowy purchase of a Charlottesville ’s internet archive breaks my heart. At City Pages we also wrote a lot about bad people doing bad things - people who must be DELIGHTED that our work has been disappeared washingtonpost.com/media/2022/

Well, hello! I’m Jennifer Fumiko Cahill (she/her), writer, Asian American journalist & arts & features editor of the North Coast Journal in Humboldt County, CA. I write about food, opinion, social issues, movies & satire/humor (sometimes as a truly shitty cat). Always hungry, frequently joking.
