#StarTrekPicard s3e7 (2023) - 10/10
What a terrific episode!

1️⃣ There were significant moments of story and character development. It was exciting. It had a killer cameo. It answered questions; posed more. #AmandaPlummer and #BrentSpiner gave stellar performances.

2️⃣ It’s hard to believe this is the same show that delivered the dreck that was Season 2.

#StarTrekPicard s3e6 (2023) - 10/10
Wow! This was magnificent. Flawless.

1️⃣ Worf had all the best lines. Again. Everything he says is either hilarious or badass. Or both.

2️⃣ Great episode for #AshleiSharpeChestnut as #SidneyLaForge. Really made me love the character.

3️⃣ And it was the first episode where Shaw and Jack didn’t annoy me. Both of them were actually likeable here.

4️⃣ #AmandaPlummer is a sensational villain. Never tire of her chewing the scenery. What a performance!

There’s something about the way #AmandaPlummer intones the word “execute.” There are myriad reasons why she couldn’t reprise #HoneyBunny’s robbery monologue from #PulpFiction, but it would’ve been priceless to hear #Vadic growl:

“Any of you fucking pricks move, and I’ll execute every motherfucking last one of you!”

#StarTrekPicard s3e2 (2023) - 8/10
Better than ep 1.

1️⃣ #AaronStanford & #AmandaPlummer made for very entertaining guest stars.

2️⃣ The pace is slow, and the show doesn’t quite generate the level of tension/suspense that it is aiming for. Had episodes 1 and 2 been edited into a single hour, it would have been a cracker.

3️⃣ Most of the Raffi scenes were pointless. But the identity of her rescuer was a cool surprise.

4️⃣ Riker & Picard are easily the best thing about this show.
