This is the night that complacency kicks in, so need to focus to make sure I don’t screw up.
Fingers crossed it doesn’t rain tonight. A tin roof is not ideal for a theatre!!!

That’s the first night done.
Opening night is always nerve-wracking but it didn’t take long to settle into a rhythm.

Absolutely loved performing and the audience seemed to enjoy it too.

This weekend I am going to be focussing on learning my lines for the second part of the play I’m in.
It’s tough to learn, but I’ll get there.
We have one month until we show it, so not much time to perfect it!

I achieved quite a bit of what I needed to get done, but now I’m heading off to rehearsals.

Second one this week, and it’s great to be out and not think about work for a couple of hours.

Been studying hard and almost got the first scene that I’m in - “Visitor from New York”.
Need to get to grips with the second scene, “Visitors from Chicago” - which is a real farce.

It’s been a long time since I’ve had to learn lines. I’ve impressed myself and my son has been impressed too.

regent's canal really is that member of an amateur dramatics troupe who seems to live solely to cause chaos and sow discord in rehearsals, until suddenly they get their one turn in the spotlight and bust out a genuinely stunning performance (after which they go straight back to being annoying)
