Hey there, guess I should say something about myself. I enjoy singing and writing songs to play on my ukulele. I'm working on growing as an amateur musician in my spare time. My other hobbies include crocheting, knitting and reading fantasy novels. Oh, and I do spend a fair amount of time playing Black Desert Online with friends. I work in tech support, so I'm a little techie too.

Last night's #OpenMic was the first in a series of "auditions" for a talent contest, and hoo boy did it bring the people out! Packed house, overflow list, and a noisier atmosphere than usual but everyone was having fun. I was still experimenting with pedal effects on my solid-body #KalaUkulele – some of it sounded good, some didn't work the way I hoped, but it was much fun. People in this community are SO supportive!
