Lovely walk this afternoon with the dogs in my local park. Here’s a couple of photos I took, showing just how amazing trees can be. One tree has clearly been toppled at some point, possibly in a storm. The main trunk lies on the ground, but it is not dead. The roots have found their way back into the earth, and amazingly one of the branches has become the main trunk. The other is completely hollowed out, yet is still hale and hearty.
