#amazonfail So I reach out to Amazon customer service. They tell me that I should resubmit the trade in. I tell them “How is this going to be different? I did this twice already.” They say my favorite thing “There must be something wrong with the algorithm.” NO SHIT.

#amazonfail I click on the link that says Why? It tells me "Wrong item received." Well how can that be? You are not given options to send the wrong item in because Amazon knows what devices are active on your account. YOU LITERALLY CLICK AND HIT THREE BUTTONS THEN SUBMIT.

#amazonfail Go through the trade in process again, after several annoying emails that say "Did you send it your trade in did you send in your trade in did you send in your trade in (Why yes I did Amazon. I sent it in the day after I filed the trade in request. Now Stop emailing me.) I get an email this morning that says (sic) "Item rejected. We are sending it back."

#amazonfail Now, to be fair, the Kindle has some scratches on it and when I set up the trade in initially, I clicked the option for "if it is not appraised for what they think, then send it back." So I thought, "Oh. This is the way for Amazon to say they are sending it back because the condition didn't match. Okay. Not a big deal. I will resubmit the trade in and take what I can get for it. Neato Mosquito."
