I dunno. Perhaps I shared it before but no matter which card I use, they seem to know who I am and can find me via email. The market has eyes. 👀

A grocer who wants to price-gouge on eggs needs an army of low-waged workers with pricing guns. #AmazonFresh does it in an eyeblink, by typing a new number into a web-form and clicking submit. As is so often the case when a magic trick is laid bare, the mechanic is very, very boring: the way to make a nickel vanish is to spend hundreds of hours practicing with a mirror while you shift so it is clenched between your fingers, and protrudes from behind your hand (spoiler alert).

Tried the Amazon Fresh store for the first time today. Entry was a bit of a fiddle (get out phone, scan code, verify credit card*, scan phone). But it tracked my £0.90 bottle of water no problem.

Not sure how much I trust it though, and I do quite like chatting to humans at the checkout. It was impressive nevertheless.

* Because it was my fist visit, it shouldn’t need that next time.

This has been my experience with #amazonfresh in the past. No way im paying a service fee for this quality.

#Amazon screws the pooch by slapping service fees up to $9.95 on grocery orders under $150. Prior to this were 0 fees for orders over $35 and your option to tip your delivery person. Highly unlikely that I will be buying from #AmazonFresh in the future.

@dnf .. I only use #AmazonFresh because it is free. Common items like coke and lunch meats are always out of stock :( .. it is a pretty bad service, and we still go to the grocery store each week.
