'Sakura'🌸 is a symbolic tree of Japan, traditionally indeed.

But since the wartime, the symbol is abused by politicians as 'Die for the nation' propaganda.

Actually, the association 'Nihon Sakura no kai / 日本さくらの会' which promotes the propagation of the tree, is the conglomerate of the politicians having warlord family tree🤢.

So Japan's democratic people have ambivalent feeling towards the tree...
