that ambivalent feeling when you fixed something for its main task (yay!) by making it less capable overall (fuck!) albeit in a way you don't really use (yay!) but have done and could again (fuck!) because despite knowing exactly what's wrong (yay!) you are _never_ finding the part (fuck!)

which is why my 1st gen anker soundcore now has a barrel jack and is 100% externally powered.

tho' I suppose I could rig up a battery pack and make it mobile again. fugly, but mobile.

Was mache ich hier? Was erhoffe ich mir hier? Ich kann mit Menschen eher nicht, schon gar nicht, wenn ich ihnen nicht in die Augen sehen kann, wenn ich sie nicht erleben kann. Aber ich habe auch viel zu viel Angst vor einer direkten Konfrontation. J'ai une fascination, mêlée de dégout, pour les bars crades. Quand le café coute 1€, mais où les habitués se vantent d'en dépenser 100 au PMU, où la seule figure féminine est la femme du patron. J'y vais, comme on visite un vieil ami qui a raté sa vie. Je me sens à la fois heureux de le revoir, mais culpabilisé, et, comme je n'ai pas vraiment réussi la mienne, je m'y ressens un peu chez moi, ambivalent.
