Dass bei Matrix gewisse Metadaten konzeptbedingt anfallen, stimmt hingegen. Es wurde eben als Erbe für XMPP, nicht WhatsApp & Co. entwickelt.
Bedeutender imho: #Matrix ist nicht #DSGVO-konform, da eine Datenentfernung vom Homeserver nicht möglich ist.
