Listening to baseball on the radio. #WLW 700 kHz via an #Airspy HF+ and a #YouLoop antenna. Transmitter is about 200 miles direct from here, nearly due south along I-75.

There is some noise under the signal but it's very copyable.

Last night I was listening to WCBS 880AM out of NYC while driving from Salem, IL (Dist approx 815mi / 1311km) to Olney, IL - w/ intermittently a very strong signal - all news & talk. On Wed night I was listening to a sports program on WWL 870AM out of New Orleans along that same stretch of road. (Dist from Olney, IL to NOLA is approx 616mi / 992km) - the host on WWL’s show was discussing his top six picks for all-time greatest quarterbacks. Using stock radio in the truck. #AMDX #BroadcastRadio

I just had a look at my last IQ recording (31/12) and, indeed, their carrier is there. No audio though, due to COPE splatters on 1134. Watch out !

Listening to NHL hockey on #WGN 720 kHz via a #KiwiSDR run by #K9MQ at grid EN61gk. The receiver is about 60 miles from the 50,000 watt AM transmitter.

The K9MQ receiver is my favorite for #Chicago
area AM stations, with consistently good coverage and clear signals.
