learning to write notes simultaneously with watching the #AmericanSignLanguage interpreters is an interesting skill, in which I tend to end up adjusting the height of the table higher so that it's in my peripheral vision.
this on top of being the first time I'm taking in-person #College classes in 10 years or so.

27 followers · 91 posts · Server meow.socialWell, I had a meeting with one of my professors. They gave me the option to speak or to sign, and I signed "My sign isn't the best..." and they signed to me that the more I sign, the more I'll improve. Definitely true. We signed.
They showed me yet another way to sign "Social Work" which is interesting because I've seen 3 different ways to sign it now. They're all pretty similar except for two main differences between some of them? Idk why I've seen 3 ways so far.

BUT, I've also been having the urge to chill in VRChat, and I learned a bit of VRASL a while back. Maybe I can dive back in there and sign with people again if I remember literally any VRASL? It'll be *something* at least, I guess.

this affects pretty much every aspect of my life.
I went through #SpeechTherapy for all of primary/secondary school, but verbal speech is still always a conscious effort. good days you can't tell I have problems; bad days? I'm nigh unintelligible.
I use #AAC on my phone as well as #AmericanSignLanguage and #PidginSignedEnglish. #Introduction
