After a, ah, 34-month break from the sequel to Children (draft 5, sent to betas) I have written 148k of draft 6 within four weeks. Should be finished before Friday, edit-ready version.

The one awkward thing I forgot about was that I hired an expert in #OldNorse everything, got 40+ pages of research from him, and focused so much on characters and plot alterations that only NOW, at 90% mark, I realised I was supposed to include some of that… #amwriting #amfacepalming
