Umm… can a naval battle have “fighting terrain”? I need a subhead and “fighting terrain” seems more idiomatic than “fighting water,” but the use of a land-based word for maritime combat has me hesitating. Thoughts? #indexing #indexodon #AmIndexing #FunWithEtymology

PS. I really want to say “fighting merain,” but I know better. And it sounds too much like (sheep) murrain, which prompts some interesting visuals.

How long do you usually spend on your index edits? I know it will depend on the overall size and complexity of the index, but -

approx 250 pp, academic?

I find I have to do it in small batches in order to retain my focus. Originally figured I would only need 24 hours, but that was definitely wrong!
