According to preliminary data, about 550 Russian servicemen were killed in Rykove, Kherson region, as a result of a missile strike on June 18 at 03:58 a.m. on the ammo warehouse.
The warehouse was located by the Russian Armed Forces Command at a distance of 90 km from the front line to avoid attacks with GMLRS shells (range of 84 km), and was so important that large roads around it were built/updated to improve logistics.
