I don’t know if or when I ever grew up, but I was prime when #PossomKingdom’s #InTheMeantime first struck a chord

Since then it would again resurface, bringing w/ it another set of memories

Another friend recently told me that they think I’m mysterious.

I hear that a lot.

But this is also me- spilling my guts.

I guess I’m both.

People also tend to think that I’m the same person who I used to be.

There is where the worst part of living with #InvisibleDisabilities is, for me.

I’m an #amnesiac. I don’t remember so much and perceive everything so differently, that I can’t imagine enjoying some of the things I loved.

I can’t even stomach many once-favorite foods

I do get confused, though. And I’m easily distracted. 🐿️👀

I guess I don’t have what it takes to beat around the bush, so I’m pretty direct 🌸🐝

I step up. I guess it intimidates

So, yes. I’m a nice guy. But, just as quickly as I’ll step up to say hi, I’m going to step up for what I believe in

Then, judging by some people’s reactions, I guess I don’t look so nice. 😤

I find it intriguing how people react in amazement when they learn that I’m an #amnesiac.

Some seem to think I’m too smart.
Others respond as if they were unsure if the affliction was real. (I was one of them.)
And then there will always be those who think I’m lying

Of the first two kinds, I usually respond with smiles and find myself questioned in innocent fascination.

The third type of person is frequently passively aggressive.

I have #family who are this way. 😔
