#hetzner's network performance for their new #Ampere offering is very unstable. Fluctuates between 1.3Gbps and 400Mbps.

On their x86 offerings it's stable at 1.3Gbps.

The new M2 Mac Pro proves Apple can make an ARM-based computer with some expandability which is GREAT! But I'm more excited for more systems based on COM-HPC platform as that has EXPANDABLE RAM (Like the Acorn computers of old), showing that ARM can still have those desktop luxuries like they did in the 80s and 90s, which would be fantastic to see!

With the reveal of the #AMD #Radeon #RX7600 & nV's #4060Ti I'm pretty sure this gen will go down as one of the worst.. Not because of the architectures, they are pretty solid, I'm a little let down by #RDNA3, it still does it's job and nVidia's #ada is a very good step compared to #ampere. No what makes it seem terrible is the pricing, and the push to serve the market with lower and lower end SKU's and tell you it's amazing.. My 6700 XT is going to die of old age before I upgrade at this rate!

AmpereOne no longer uses stock #Arm #Neoverse cores. Instead, a custom core designed by #Ampere. It still uses Arm ISA, but it is Ampere’s core. The core features 64KB 4-way L1 data cache per core, 16KB L1 instruction cache per core, and a 2MB L2 cache per core. AmpereOne will cover 136-192 cores, leaving #Altra/#AltraMax to core counts of 128 and below. The cache is doubled. PCIe Gen5 doubles the bandwidth.
