Je soupçonne fortement Fred Plaut d'avoir triché ce 19 février 1959 (je dis bien 1959) en faisant tourner ses #Ampex 300 à 30 pouces/seconde au lieu de 15. Il était connu pour bidouiller en anticipant les limites futures des équipements #audio.
Normalement, ces 21 kHz et ces 90 dB de dynamique n'auraient pas pu être atteints avant les années 80.
