Whenever I see a tentacle-y monster, they inevitably have generic octopus-like suckers. Yawn. #Cephalopods and particularly #squids have AMAZING diversity. Why, look at what this mature male #Amphorateuthis_alveatus is packing — it’s far more outlandish than any fantasy creature I’ve seen!
