Bad times: the grim realization that you’re going to have to completely rewrite the first two thirds, because the tense/POV combo you chose at the beginning is about to fall apart, Bluesmobile-style.

After threatening yesterday to start work on the plot for book #6 (in lieu of drafting #5), this morning I uncovered a reason to make a change to book #4, which thankfully is still sat on the starting blocks waiting on my cartographer to deliver the new maps.

Phew. A moment of complete serendipity (followed by one of strange serenity).

At this point I'd normally claim "procrastination FTW!!" but it was externally enforced procrastination, so it doesn't really count. Still, I'll take it.

I've also rediscovered all those plot notes I made while staring out at the Norwegian coastline from the library aboard MS Maud. Some really good stuff. The serenity there must've agreed with me too. Maybe that's the watchword for today?

So, managed to plot an ending for my PI book. All I need now is to connect the dots and get my protagonist there from where she is in one piece. #amplotting

Had a dream about BeyBlade and not the new BeyBlade with the new character's, it was the old one with the original charaters. Oh man, I remember growing up with that show as a kid and having a crush on one of them. Of course I knew it was a cartoon but sometimes you can't help it when your a kid. Btw, the Bey team i was on had him in it lol. I think it would be nice to create a story that's like some sort of fighting team like BeyBlade but not sure what to make it yet. #AmPlotting

From here on out Orphanmaker will be known as HBMN 1. I may change my mind but I think it will be a 10 book series. So while I have my series name, I still need a name for the first book. I've just about plotted it all and will start writing soon.

Hivemind: Any lawyers on my timeline willing to chime in on an issue? Party A writes up a will to leave something to Party B. But there's a provision that if "something" happens, the rights would go to Party C.

I finished it! Yeah, it's just a novella but I really needed a win. Been feeling a bit down the last 48 hours.

It has like 3 intimate scenes. 1 is a chase at the end.

Next week I will tackle editing it and scheduling it for a vella release in February. Now I can focus on a few more wips.

My fingers are itchy to start new projects. Like a Stargate inspired sci fi novel, a why choose bodyguard sci fi novel.

I am not sure what the next holiday novel should be tho
