I am making a nightshirt thingy.

It has POCKETS.

I have never sewn pockets before, except on the last thing I made, which had MERE PATCHES. These ones are set in and everything. I have already stretched the fabric where I shouldn't have, but am ploughing on regardless.

Expect screams.

Right now I #amsewing pants. For the toddler, who's somehow grown again. (I put an outward-facing seam on the waistband to help her tell which is the back.)

I very (very) much regret to say the velvet collar I have just sewed on my #SewingProject vest is absolutely not working. It looks severely average compared to the rest of the vest. It's got to come off.

1) Anyway, onto something more interesting. Today's mini project is making covers for my dress forms, using an online pattern, knit material and my serger! This will help me be able to pad out the forms better to match measurements closer.
