Still settling in here and hearing that I'm not on the best instance but I like lots of topics from #writing to #science to #photography to #Antarctica to yes, some #politics What's the best instance for such things?

I don't think I need to tell anyone this, but both parenting and writing are hard individually. Doubly so when combined. I'm not going to make my NaNo goal this time, but I have got into the habit of writing when presented the rare opportunity. I'll count that as a win for me. It's definitely an improvement after years of dreaming.

I'm excited about the story. Slow, steady progress is being made.
