I draw a good amount of inspiration from people such as 19th Century engraver Gustave Doré, Irish book illustrator Harry Clarke, and Pen and ink maestro Bernie Wrightson. These men set the bar for pen and ink illustration, and their Work remains an inspiration. This pen and ink portrait (After Burne-Jones) of famed Pre-Raphaelite muse Maria Zambaco recalls the golden era of pen and ink illustration.
