I discovered today the concept of #anacyclosis, that comes from the ancient Greeks and says that political structures follow an immutable cycle sometimes put in this order: aristocracy, plutocracy, oligarchy, #democracy, ochlocracy, aristocracy, etc.

Democracy appears here as a reaction to the tyranny of oligarchy, but unable to solve its own flaws stemming from the natural inequality of temperaments among humanity and end up eventually in an ochlocracy until a new aristocracy is born.
