I doubt many of you have a pair of #anaglyph glasses lying around (the #3D glasses with one red and one cyan lens) but if you do, here's an anaglyph I just created from my #3DCon #photos
This is Harold Baize, Jr. He's a 3D photographer, who's been attending #BurningMan for the last 25 years, dressed as Silver Man. A truly fascinating, creative, and genuinely nice man.
I'm also including a 2D, non-anaglyph version with this post, so you can get a better idea of the image.

Hard to believe that complete set of life's stock parts fits on screen: 22 #AminoAcids + 4 #RNA blocks. Anything else can be made of these, or by tools made of these, or by tools made by tools made by... Including you and your computer. I am staring at it in transcendental #amazement.
#3D makes #biochemistry fun. And #FreeCAD now feels easy after #PyMOL if #anaglyph glasses need a tweak :)

Is there any consensus whether x-eye or side-by-side is better? Or is it a matter of taste/preference (the viewer's I guess).

Snowy day in North Lake Tahoe. #stereoscopy / #stereography / #anaglyph (Incidentally, I've noticed that these 3d effects work best when view somewhat small, as on a phone, or a small window in a browser, but tend to get wonky if maximized).

We tried to go to HMB for a bike ride, but traffic on the 92 was worse than a hot summer day. Ended up riding part of the ridge trail that starts behind the big cemetery. Nice scenery but you don't go to far before your way is blocked by a locked gate (the land belongs to the SFWD). #stereography / #stereoscopy / #anaglyph

I'm posting this not because it's great but because it's an interesting part of the learning process. This picture is "too 3D"--even with #anaglyph (red/blue) glasses the foreground flowers don't quite work. So with #stereoscopy/#stereography you need to think about 3d composition. (A lot of my "exaggerated sterescopy experiments have the same problem--even medium-distance objects are too 3D to work).
