I had a visitor last night. Something that only eats #pepper #plants. Two #jalapeno plants stripped bare; one #habanero reduced to a stump; two #anaheims severely damaged; #tomatoes and #basil untouched.

It could have been a rabbit, but I suspect a deer.

My small garden is poorly defended. It hasn't been a serious problem until now. Sometimes a bird will eat a small #tomato, or a squirrel will steal then discard a green tomato, but the loss was minimal. Now it's serious.
