Stylish, brutal, aber zugleich überraschend warmherzig inszeniert Amirpour Junkies und Misfits, denen die Heldin auf ihrem episodischen Weg begegnet. Jim Jarmusch ist hoffentlich grün vor Neid.

A girl with superpowers escapes from an asylum to hang out with junkies and misfits, while the authorities try to hunt her down. Dreamlike, beautifully shot and just incredibly cool. I bet Jarmusch wishes he'd made this movie.
