There is a new study out, re-examining the DNA of Ötzi, one of the oldest glacial mummies (dated 3350–3120 BCE), found near the Austrian/Italian border in 1991. This study shows two things.
He showed an unusually-high c.90% Anatolian Neolithic farmer ancestry but NO Steppe ancestry (The rest is European Hunter-Gatherer)
Also, he was much more dark-skinned than expected and had SNPs associated with male-pattern baldness.

The yDNA came from 2 haplogroups (G2a2b2a1a2 (n=51) and H2m (n=6)) whilst for the mtDNA there were "35 unique
mitochondrial haplotypes among 57 such individuals". This suggests an "exogenous origin of these females". in other words the "females in-migrated from their birthplace" which suggests quite an interaction between different groups/clans during this time.
