I love this pup so much. He’s got strong herding instincts, which we expected given that he’s a border collie, but he’s also super sweet, protective, and so many other things we didn’t expect.

It brings me a lot of joy watching him work with our animals and it’s evident he loves the work too.

First time taking this 105mm lens out for a spin. Thank goodness for used camera gear shops and excellent research skills because this lens was a steal and it’s sharp AF. Looking forward to shooting with this baby more.

I was finally able to get some Ancona ducks shipped here. I had ordered some last year but I think the bird flu fucked with that order so we tried again this year.

Ancona’s are a heritage breed that are theoretically good foragers so we shall see how they do. We also snagged a few Rouen ducks which are supposed to be nice big meaty ones. Hopefully both breeds do well in our climate.
