#AndrewMitchell tried to excuse their tardy response by saying they'd evacuated the #diplomats and their families but there were an awful lot of UK passport holders to help - more than any other country. Well, if that's the case they should have started earlier.

The two tests Mitchell mentions do not seem to be conditional of this timescale. 🙄

The Disasters Emergency Committee is an umbrella group of UK charities and NOTHING to do with government. Does he hope that we do not know this?
