Comments here about Andy, only: @jessicabeck is a wonderful scholar who leads with her heart: and if she could, I think she would downplay the early, hugely successful “commercial” art. It was weird for about a minute. What is said about Andy, and what I think is most true, is that Andy himself was his most compelling work.
