Movie I saw yesterday: "The Quiet Girl" (2022). Ireland's entry in the #BestInternationalFilm #Oscar category. A quiet, dreamy girl of 8 or 9 is sent from her chaotic, struggling household to live with her mother's childless relatives, and blossoms under their kind care. Beautifully shot, and the young actress Catherine Clinch is remarkable. Worth seeing. Playing at the #Angelika, NYC.
