In case anyone is interested in practical direct animal rights organizations in Israel, this is the Instagram page of Safehaven for Donkeys here. There is still a lot of rural life, and unfortunately, working animals are sometimes treated very badly. This group runs a rescue and shelter for them. I am trying to get folks here on the Fediverse, but meanwhile, they still need support.
