Astoundingly good book from @edyong209 - I really savoured this one. the title #AnImmenseWorld is not wrong - I wondered as I started it just how much you can write about how animals sense the world. It turns out you can write a lot and every single page glimmers with wonder, delight, new insights and knife sharp writing.

I enjoyed his previous book very much too, but this is book of the year if not book of the decade territory.
Simply superb.

I began reading this book, given to me as a birthday gift a couple of months ago, on Christmas Day. I'm thoroughly enjoying it: it's fascinating, engagingly written and only adding to my wonder at the marvels of life and the world. We must protect the natural world.

I’ve always got one fiction and one non-fiction going at any given time, although I’ve been sneaking in some web-published short stories that I converted to epub because I like book-style paragraphs for fiction.

Imagining being Pavarroti in the shower was fun until: I imagined simultaneously getting soap in my eyes and hitting a very high C-note, as a bat chasing a moth knocked over my shampoo bottle.

It really messed up my Aria.
