Is there any alternative to #anpost #AddressPal? Their service is absolutely awful. Takes like 3 days from when an item gets delivered before they send that out... Parcel Wizard used to be way better... but that's gone, thanks to #Brexit.

First time I've seen this - a fraudulent e-mail purporting to be from An Post asking me to scan a QR code to update my delivery address. Well written and superficially plausible.

The #scam operators tried an #AnPost payment/delivery brokerage attack via my wife's personal For Sale ad yesterday. The sophistication of these scams is impressive, and increasingly worrying.

If someone suggests they'll buy something from you with the help of a professional-looking payment/collection service, do your research first! Chances are that the payment sequence is just a means of hijacking your card/bank account. 😡

So the post office in the Spar on Patrick St is closed as of today.

According to a sign on the door, social welfare payments will be delivered on St Andrew's St, a mere 13-minute walk away. I'm sure the pensioners and everyone with mobility issues will enjoy the stroll.

If #AnPost needs to cut costs, maybe we should take social welfare payments from them? Or perhaps even step boldly into the 20th century, and stop making people cue for SW cash like it's a Dickens novel?

I've been fascinated for a while by how #AnPost are using Can's "I Want More" to soundtrack their radio ad about banking services, but today I learned that it was an actual minor chart hit and led to #Can appearing on #TopOfThePops .

@sinabhfuil An author friend in Switzerland sent me a parcel with his book and a box of chocolates. It had the required customs label, he paid the counter clerk 5CHF for it as well as postage. He has just received it back with a rejection sticker, the book damaged, and the chocolate box opened. I never received any notification, either by text or by post.
